The Canadian American Bar Association (CABA) is an association of American and Canadian lawyers and Foreign Legal Consultants with strong cross-border ties either through citizenship, education or professional designation.

CABA maintains ever-growing ties with national, state and provincial bar associations and has a committed focus on educational, business networking and social activities for its members. We also provide corporate sponsorships for law firms, law schools and businesses which includes four free individual annual memberships for the sponsor’s attorneys, law students or Foreign Legal Consultants in addition to promotion of your organization on our website and materials. We are proud of our annual $500 law student essay competition which is open to law students in either country and our annual John D. Lawson Award which is provided to a distinguished member of CABA through recommendations of our membership.

It’s a very exciting time for CABA and we hope you will join with us in promoting a cross-border bar association between the world’s largest and most comprehensive trading partners.
